A rare album of large format with  illustrations in good preservation.   The publication contains photographs of jewelry, relics associated with the Imperial family and especially with Emperor Paul I , interior items stored in Pavlovsk. The album contains photographs of portraits from the Pavlovsk art gallery, captures individual monuments of his architectural ensemble. During World War II, Pavlovsk suffered tremendous damage: the park was destroyed, valuable artifacts were lost, the palace was set on fire by the Germans during the retreat. Many items presented in this album have been lost forever.
