    Description
    Here is a nice rare 17th century Scottish halberd polearm in good original condition. The large iron head with a nicely shaped blade is dark from genuine age which can be seen in the photos. The old original wooden handle is in good condition and is solid and tight. At some point the handle was shortened to it's current length. In total measuring 37 inches long and the head measures 5.8 inches wide with a 16.5 inch long blade. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland from a gentleman's collection. Reference = A similar Scottish halberd can be seen in Edinburgh castle in the "Great Hall"
