    Here is a nice 16th century pair of iron "breast ripper" torture tongs in good original condition. The iron surface has a nice smooth dark patina from age. The pinching jaws have a nice crescent shape and open and close tightly. These would have been used for torturing women and men by applying the jaws like clamps onto the breasts or other "loose" areas of the body.
    In total measuring 8.9 inches long and the jaws measure 2.1 inches wide. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland from a gentleman's collection of dungeon torture instruments.
