K-Type Thermocouple PK-1 for Digital Thermometer

-328 to 500°F    (-200 to 260°C)
This is a great and reliable thermocouple PK-1 wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 8 ft long wire probe (this is about 100 inch or 2.5 meter or 250 cm), which has a high temperature plastic coating. This PFA teflon compound based insulation is easier to clean than fiber glass insulation. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see

for a good selection).
This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure.

This thermocouple PK-1 will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer, but the insulation will become brittle below -58F. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with my thermometer DT1311 and DT1312. My DT804 and DT804A only measure to -58°F.
