This is a great small insertion thermocouple with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 3 inch long stainless steel probe, which comes with a 2 inch long handle. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers from a wide range of manufacturers (see my shop for a good selection).
This probe can be inserted in liquids or any object you like to measure. It is much easier to clean than the thermocouple wire that comes with many thermometers. It is frequently used in HVAC, industrial and laboratory applications. Great for teachers and professors at schools, colleges and universities, for laboratory, science, physics and science fair projects.
The temperature rating of 752 degree Fahrenheit (400 degree Celsius) is for the tip of the stainless steel sensor, the handle and cable are stable to about 160
°
F.
