    Description

    German Hand and Half Sword, Later Bastard Sword. This hand and half sword has a 32 3/4" long double fuller backsword blade, that looks like it was longer but cut down or broken on tip and period sharpen. The center fuller goes all the way to the end of blade so it could have been at least 36" long or more at one time. The guard has some nicks and scrapes and looks like a period weld at front guard and side guard junction. The overall length is 41". It weights 2 1/2lbs and has a lively but strong feel to it. Overall in very good shape for a sword of this age.
