Mickey Mouse ~ Rare & Retired~This auction is for a Walt Disney World Theme Park Exclusive DISNEY DOLLAR of Mickey Mouse from the 2000 series. Serial #D00626728AIt's this one Disney Dollar that we bought at Disneyworld in 2000. Everywhere I find one like it online or on eBay, they call it "rare". That's just a word I don't throw around, but EVERY other one calls one with these particular attributes RARE. So, I really regret shoving it in my pocket or my purse as I traipsed around Disneyworld 21 years ago with a 5-year-old in tow.
In May 14, 2016 the Walt Disney Company announced that it would stop all production on Disney Dollars. However, you can still spend these at the Disneyland Resort, the Walt Disney World Resort, and The Disney Stores in the United States of America. The only way to obtain Disney Dollars now is through private collections. I'm trying to price it correctly without sending it off to a service to place a value on it. I'm going to keep it under a big book to make it look more perfect before I take its picture. I just have this one (I did have some really good ones about 4 months ago...), but I'm not completely new to Disney Dollars.

THAT WAS ADDED IN THIS YEAR, 2000, FOR ADDED SECURITY.  [I think I read that you will not see the Pixie Dust in A series, but only in D series Dollars--I've been reading so much about them I can't 100% if I remember that.]
